Training

The training directory is now online and we will not be receiving a copy through the post. So if you want to book on any courses go to www.birthtofive.org.uk, click on 'Workforce Development', 'Training Directory' and then 'Online Booking System'. Here you can enter your details and you will be sent a user name and password which will enable you to access the discounted prices and to book your courses online. It really is quite a simple, time saving process as there is no longer any need to fill out forms and send them through the post.

If you would like to attend a course and want to know if anyone else is going - email into the site and we can do our best to match people up, this is a great way to make friends, share the training experiences and possibly share in travel arrangements.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that your first aid certificate does not expire. Book onto an appropriate course in plenty of time in order to ensure that your certificate does not lapse. You can attend a course no more than 3 months before your certificate is due to expire.

'CHEAP AND CHEERFUL' course 7 March 2012 arrive at 6pm for 6.15 start at The Totem Pole, Belton Woods, Grantham. We have arranged this course through Mary Barlow of the Totem Pole. If you have been there you will know how fantastic it is! Having been on a course there myself I can thoroughly recommend it and would urge everyone to book a place. The aim of the workshop is: How to extend good quality resources with free and found materials. This workshop will be 'hands on' giving you the opportunity to explore 'free and found materials' that will enhance play and learning. Booking forms can be obtained from Allison. Upon booking Allison will also require a booking fee of £25. £5 of this fee is being subsidised by the group (group members only) and this will be refunded making the total cost of a place on this course £20. Don't forget this can be put through your accounts as a business expense!! Hope to see you all there!
