Food Hygiene Training is being scheduled for the 9th May 2009 - 0900 - 1630, in Grantham. The course will be run via ABC Training at a cost of £47 each, this should be fully refundable for most childminders, please check the form at the back of your training directory. You will need to register your interest with Allison Clark (contact details on the site) and provide a £10 non-refundable deposit made payable to Grantham Childminding Group by the end of November 2008. 10 people are required to facilitate this course.

Gold Star Training Award 2007/2008. The presentation evening this year is booked in Grantham at Great Gonerby Social Club on Wednesday 18th June, so put it in your diaries and get your glad rags on!

The 2008-2009 Training Directories are now out so have a good look through and get yourself on some courses. I have been informed there are not as many courses in this years directory, so please book any courses you want to attend as early as possible to guarantee you a place.

As usual a lot of the courses are held mid week but don't despair - having spoken to a number of course providers we do have the facilities to get these courses put on just for us in the times that we want them. The training providers have agreed that if we can fill the minimum spaces for the courses then they will put them on where and when we want them.
